Part finder

Tell Steve What You Are Hunting

Nobody is charged for asking, and you will get a real answer rather than an open ended maybe.

The part finder request is a free enquiry service for guitar parts that are discontinued or out of stock everywhere else. Stevie's Guitars checks its own shelves first, then a network of collectors and repair shops built over decades. It is best used after ordinary suppliers have failed, and it delivers either a part with a price or a clear no.

What to Include

  • Maker, model and year. As precise as you can be. Year matters more than most people expect.
  • What you need. Name the part if you know it, describe it if you do not.
  • A photograph. One picture of the area saves three emails.
  • Original or working. Whether you need a period correct piece or anything that does the job.
  • Your timeline. If the guitar is booked for a gig, say so.

What Happens Next

Steve reads every message himself. If he holds the part, you get a price. If he does not, he asks around, and you hear back either way. Nothing is ordered for you until you agree the price and the shipping cost.

What This Is Not

This is not a repair service and it is not a valuation service. If you want to know what your instrument is worth, say so and Steve will tell you what he can, but the part finder is about finding parts.

Part request

This is how Steve replies. It is not shared with anyone.

Your message goes straight to Steve's inbox. No address is published on this site, which keeps the spam down.
