Eastwood built its reputation on reviving designs the big makers abandoned, and the RD Artist is one of those shapes that never got a fair run the first time around. This is a 2018 example from a numbered limited edition of three.
A short run reissue is an easier instrument to own than a fragile original. You get the shape and the character without babying a sixty year old neck, and small numbered runs tend to hold their value better than open ended production.
