Vintage and Collectible Guitars
Martin Louvin Brothers
Available
$3,700.00 + S&H
A Martin tied to the Louvin Brothers, one of the most quietly influential acts in close harmony country music. Sold direct by Steve De Franco at Stevie's Guitars, with no checkout and no auction. Message for condition detail, extra photographs and a shipping quote to your address.
Martin flat tops carry their history in the top wood, and the ones connected to a particular act carry a second kind of history on top of that. The Louvin Brothers shaped close harmony country music in a way that still turns up in records made sixty years later, and an instrument carrying that association sits in a different category from a standard production run.
Guitars like this one are bought by players and by collectors, and the two groups ask different questions. Steve is happy to answer either set before you decide.

Before You Commit
Ask for more photographs of anything that matters to you, including the areas most listings leave out: the back of the neck, the heel, the fret ends and the inside of the case. Steve will take them.
Shipping is quoted per instrument at the rate the carrier charges on the day, packed in a hard case inside an outer carton. Read the buying guide for the full process, or the returns policy if you want to know where you stand after it arrives.
